The Teachers have told me that part of what was important about writing the book was that it would encourage discussion—moving the information and adding to it. i recently had a conversation with someone who couldn’t believe in anything spiritual because he thought it was all just a security myth created by the intellect. i have heard organized religion described that way. i believe that true spirituality requires that we drop our intellect. it’s not that we don’t think, it’s that we must also be informed by our feelings. just as we feel suffering and happiness, we also feel love and compassion—they are physical sensations that are created by resonance and harmony.
