I seem to have lost my drive. Everything feels drab and uninspiring. I feel tired all the time. Is this a histamine response to the wildfire smoke I’m breathing? A normal decrease in energy due to aging? Is it the daily grind and grief of democracy being dismantled? The collective energy of the world around me? All of this??
A’riquea: It would be best to not attach too much energy to figuring things out intellectually. You are going through a time of change. Everyone is.
There is a huge shift occurring in the energy around you. This necessarily changes the energy within you. Your emotions are the vibrations that inform you of these shifts. Your emotions are telling you that you will not be the same, life will not operate under the same wavelengths that it did previously.
This is like riding a wave, a current of water, of energy. If you get too attached to each bump and roll, to each splash of water, you will lose sight of the ride you are on. Life is a ride. It is a movement from one way of being to another. Some shifts are occurring in your physical manifestation and that is just part of the overall Shift.
You are concerned that you “should” be some other way, but this is the way it is right now. Do what you can to enjoy the ride. Focus on buoyancy. Focus on the scenery. Focus on the movement. Life is movement.
If you have hit a place of stagnation, then it is time to pick your head up and look around. It is not always better to paddle harder. Look for the current and let it take you. You don’t need to put out more energy, you need to use the energy around you to better effect. Stop trying to create something that you expect to be the right direction. If you find yourself in a quiet pool, lay on your raft and enjoy the sun!
Thank you for these words. I am also struggling with so many of these same issues plus some major personal blows as well. It seems hard to roll along as if all is normal. Or even find motivation to move towards the Light. This advice is helpful.
When our way seems dark,
And our sight’s not clear,
When our way seems hard,
And stones lie in our path.
Keep turning towards the Light,
We are turning towards the Light
