As I expand in my spiritual development, I’m finding connections almost every day with interesting people and resources. It’s heartening to know that so many people are actively exploring their spirituality!
I’ve recently come across two books you may be interested in:
The Wheel of Time, by Carlos Castaneda (Pocket Books, 1998). This is a condensed book of quotes from the Don Juan teachings, laid out in sequence. Very readable.
I Am the Word, by Paul Selig (Jeremy P. Tarcher/Penguin, 2010). All of the text in this book is channeled, and parallels much of what The Teachers are telling me. Although the principles apply generally, it definitely has a Christian context. I find the information valuable, and also appreciate the challenge to my biases as a non-christian.
Thanks, I have read “The Wheel Of Time” and I will find “I Am The Word” and read it as well!
Any particular thoughts about The Wheel of Time?
sorry for some reason I do not see when you respond and that is why the slooow response on my part. As for the book while I enjoyed it overall, LOTS to think about. I found myself reading it as a story of others… their travels and experiences not as a manual for me. I have never thought of myself as a warrior nor do I want to be a warrior. I have always thought of myself spiritually as a motherless child looking for the Great Mother of all.
