Someone once asked: if I could condense The Teachers’ information into three main points, what would they be? This is a very good question. In Buddhism, there is a saying that the teacher can only point to the meal (the lesson)––the student has to be on the one to eat it (take it in). What meal are the Teachers in my books pointing to?
1. Learn to feel the difference between your ego and your spirit, between form and essence. This is not something that we can will into happening or achieve through intellectual study. Feeling essence is a whole-body experience. It is occurs when we connect with the energy vibration of the cosmos.
2. Learn to cultivate this sensation of being expanded and open. This is where ego drama begins to fall away and we feel compassion for self and others. It is the seat of joy, Love, and peace.
3. Integrate this sensation of opening into every part of our lives. Live a life of connected essence.
These are the foundations of every mystical practice and tradition on the planet. It doesn’t matter how we get there. It matters that we are living the path.
