I’ve been angry at Pablo Picasso for years. His treatment of women was abysmal. Over time, I’ve also come to realize what a tortured soul he must have been. Can you imagine having his level of creative imagination and vision and then butting up against the traditional standards of his time? Although it doesn’t forgive his misogyny, his artistic displacement outside the norms is the path forward of evolution.

What is possible? What do we really know about the entire Universe? Our attempts to define it are severely limited by both our crude measuring devices and by human perspective. Science is based on the material world–we occasionally gather enough information to explain Everything and then another door is blown open that makes us realize we know Nothing. Again. All formal religions are based on mystical figures and events from long ago in history, and they have been colored over time by constantly shifting cultural norms and the infusion of politics.

I am pleased to report that acceptance of a broader consciousness, beyond five-sense reality, seems to be expanding. Sitting at my farmer’s market book table over many years, I see a growing acceptance in the general population of not only the concepts of layered multiple dimensions but also the practices that help us exist there. You, reading this right now, have been convinced in some way that there is more available to us than the material world.

My purpose is to encourage you to continue opening up. In the bigger context, everything is possible.

“That the universe appears accidental and predestined at the same time is not so much a measure of the qualities of the universe, but the limitations of the perceptive system applied to it.”
~ M.A. Foster, The Day of the Klesh
